Mia Goth is reportedly worried about Shia LaBeouf following his latest arrest, even as the couple remains separated.
According to multiple reports, LaBeouf was taken into custody in New Orleans on two counts of simple battery after an alleged altercation at the Royal Street Inn & R Bar in the city’s French Quarter. He was later released without bail. Sources say Goth and LaBeouf—who share a daughter, Isabel—have been living apart for nearly a year, but remain in contact to co-parent.
An insider told TMZ that the Frankenstein actress is “concerned” about her estranged husband amid the renewed legal trouble. Despite their separation, LaBeouf is said to maintain a loving relationship with their daughter. While he has relocated to New Orleans, Goth and Isabel reportedly continue living in Pasadena.
One of the alleged victims, identified as Jeffrey Klein, claimed LaBeouf became aggressive during the encounter. Police reportedly reviewed video footage from the scene showing LaBeouf shirtless and involved in a heated exchange with bystanders. A witness told Live Now Fox that people at the bar asked him to leave before the situation escalated. LaBeouf has denied physically shoving or touching anyone.
A source also told PEOPLE that LaBeouf’s move to New Orleans was meant to serve as a personal “reset,” as he had grown unhappy in Los Angeles. The insider added that he wanted to be closer to his father. Neither Goth nor LaBeouf has publicly commented on the latest developments.
