Rumors swirled online after Keith Urban’s recent divorce from Nicole Kidman, with speculation quickly turning toward rising country singer Karley Scott Collins. Social media chatter and tabloid-style headlines suggested the two were romantically involved, even claiming they were living together. Collins has now stepped in to shut those claims down—hard.
The 26-year-old artist took to Instagram to directly address the gossip, sharing a screenshot of one particularly wild headline and making it clear the story was completely false. She called the rumors ridiculous and untrue, laughing off the suggestion with a crying-laughing emoji and leaving little room for interpretation.
The timing of the speculation came shortly after Urban and Kidman finalized their divorce earlier this month, officially ending their 19-year marriage. Since the split, Urban has been the subject of multiple unconfirmed dating rumors, making Collins an easy target for online guesswork.
In reality, Collins and Urban’s connection is professional. The two have worked together over the past year, with Collins joining Urban as an opening act on his High and Alive tour, which launched in Alabama in May 2025. The tour marked her first time performing on a major arena stage and played a significant role in her growing profile in the country music scene.
After the tour wrapped, Collins publicly thanked Urban for his mentorship, posting a warm birthday message praising his kindness and support during her first large-scale tour. She described him as a friend and expressed gratitude for everything she and her band learned while on the road. Despite that public show of appreciation, Collins has now made it clear there is nothing romantic between them.
The rumors were further fueled by an unverified report claiming Urban had moved in with Collins following his separation. Collins directly denied that allegation, calling it completely fabricated. Representatives for both artists have declined to comment further.
Urban’s divorce from Kidman was finalized on January 6, 2026, in a Nashville court. According to court records, neither party will receive spousal support. The former couple agreed to a shared parenting arrangement for their daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, with Kidman serving as the primary residential parent.
Since the split, Urban has also been loosely linked to other women, including a rumored connection to his guitarist Maggie Baugh. Those claims, too, have reportedly been dismissed by sources close to the singer, leaving Collins’ response as the clearest and most direct rebuttal yet to the swirling gossip.
