Taylor Swift is once again using her star power for good—this time donating a generous $1 million to the hunger-relief nonprofit Feeding America.

The organization, which supports a network of over 200 food banks across the U.S., announced the gift on Instagram, calling Swift’s contribution a “powerful reminder” of how unity can help families facing food insecurity. Feeding America CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot praised the superstar’s timing and generosity, noting that the donation will make a tangible difference during the holidays.

This act of kindness is just the latest in Swift’s long-running tradition of philanthropy. The pop icon previously donated $5 million to the same organization in October 2024, helping communities hit by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. She also contributed $1 million for disaster relief in her home state of Tennessee in 2023 and personally donated $100,000 to the family of a woman killed during the tragic Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade earlier this year.

Beyond her own generosity, Swift’s influence continues to inspire her fanbase to take action. In October, her fans—known globally as Swifties—rallied behind a social media campaign called Swifties for Hope, raising money for Feeding America and encouraging donations of $13, a number famously tied to Swift’s superstition and identity.

And, as if to cap off a year defined by both success and compassion, Swift surprised fans by dropping the final two episodes of her Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era this morning—just in time for holiday binge-watching.

Whether it’s through her chart-topping albums or her charitable acts, Taylor Swift continues to prove she’s more than a pop icon—she’s a cultural force who leads with heart.
