Riley Keough is reportedly heartbroken over explosive claims linking her to John Travolta’s family in one of Hollywood’s most jaw-dropping controversies yet.
According to a Globe report, the Daisy Jones & The Six star, 36, has been “devastated” by allegations that she is the biological mother of John Travolta’s 15-year-old son, Ben, rather than the late Kelly Preston. The shocking claim, buried in an amended lawsuit filed by Priscilla Presley’s former business partners, has allegedly thrown both the Presley and Travolta families into emotional turmoil.
A source close to Keough told Globe that the actress is “absolutely shattered to be caught up in something so cruel and invasive.” The insider added that Travolta, 71, is equally distressed: “John is famously private, and having his son’s parentage dragged into public speculation is deeply painful.”

The allegations originated from Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko, who are suing Priscilla Presley’s son, Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, for $50 million in a breach-of-contract case. Their filing claims that after Travolta’s son Jett tragically passed away in 2009, the Grease actor allegedly arranged for Keough to donate her eggs so that his wife, Kelly Preston—reportedly unable to conceive—could carry and give birth to their youngest child, Ben.
Representatives for the Presley family have fiercely denied the story. Attorneys Marty Singer and Wayne Harman blasted the claims as “outrageous and unrelated to the case at hand,” calling the accusers’ behavior “reprehensible.” But Kruse and Fialko’s attorney, Jordan Matthews, doubled down, telling The National Enquirer that the allegations were “fact-based” and “not meant to sensationalize.”
Sources say Riley and her grandmother, Priscilla Presley, have chosen not to respond publicly, instead relying on their legal team. “They’re trying to stay strong, but this has been emotionally devastating,” an insider shared. “They can’t control what’s being said or leaked—and that’s what hurts the most.”
As both families brace for further fallout, the situation remains tense and deeply personal. “Whatever the motivation behind these claims,” the insider added, “it’s succeeded in causing real pain.”
