Stray Kids has secured six new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), marking a significant milestone for the K-pop sensation.

The RIAA announced on Wednesday that Stray Kids’ fourth studio album, KARMA, released in August, has been certified Gold. This certification is awarded to albums that surpass 500,000 units sold in the United States. With this achievement, Stray Kids now boasts a record-breaking six RIAA Gold certifications for albums among K-pop artists, including “????? (5-STAR),” “?-STAR,” “ATE,” “MAXIDENT,” and “? (HOP).”
In the singles category, the group hit another high note, adding five new certifications, including their first Platinum award. “God’s Menu,” the title track from their June 2020 debut studio album “GO?” (Go Live), crossed the 1 million sales threshold in the U.S., earning Platinum status.
Four more singles achieved Gold certification, each surpassing 500,000 units: “CASE 143” from the October 2022 mini-album “MAXIDENT,” “Special” from the June 2023 album “????? (5-STAR),” “Rock” from the November 2023 mini-album “?-STAR,” and “Chk Chk Boom” from the July 2024 mini-album “ATE.” These new accolades join their previously certified Gold singles “God’s Menu,” “MANIAC,” “Back Door,” and “Thunderous,” further cementing Stray Kids’ popularity in the U.S. market.
The group’s success extends to the Billboard charts, where they’ve been rewriting history. Their fourth studio album “KARMA” landed at No. 45 on the Billboard 200 for the week of November 29, marking an impressive 13 consecutive weeks in the top 100. This streak surpasses their previous record of 12 weeks set by “????? (5-STAR).” As Stray Kids continues to dominate the charts, industry insiders are watching closely to see if their latest release, “SKZ IT TAPE ‘DO IT’,” will secure their eighth consecutive entry on the Billboard 200, further solidifying their status as global K-pop powerhouses.
