The 2025 MAMA Awards is set to showcase a real-life KPop Demon Hunters face-off.
On Wednesday, CJ ENM unveiled the headliners for the official collaboration stage with Netflix’s animated film KPop Demon Hunters, slated to debut at the 2025 MAMA Awards.
This groundbreaking performance will blur the lines between animation and reality, bringing to life the epic battle between the Huntrix and the Saja Boys, portrayed by actual K-pop idols.
BabyMonster members Parita, Ahyeon, and Laura will embody the K-pop girl group and exorcists, Huntrix. They’ll go head-to-head with the Lion Boys, a five-member K-pop boy group featuring BOYNEXTDOOR’s Lee Han, Rise’s Wonbin, TWS Shin Yu, and ZEROBASEONE’s Park Geon Wook and Han Yu Jin.
This collaboration, which promises to bring the animated world to vivid life on stage, is anticipated to be a landmark moment, uniting K-pop fans across the globe.
The 2025 MAMA Awards will take place on November 28 and 29 at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium, a rising star in Asia’s mega-event scene. Fans worldwide can catch the action live through various digital platforms, including Mnet Plus. The red carpet kicks off at 5:30 p.m. KST, with the main ceremony following at 7:30 p.m.
