K-pop sensation Seventeen marked their first appearance on the NPR Music series Tiny Desk. On June 24th local time, members Joshua, Mingyu, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino delivered a captivating 30-minute live set for the Seventeen Tiny Desk Concert episode, released on NPR Music’s YouTube channel.
Tiny Desk is a renowned live series known for intimate performances that spotlight pure musicality and has previously hosted global stars including Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Billie Eilish, and Sabrina Carpenter. Seventeen became the first K-pop group to perform at NPR headquarters in Washington D.C., further solidifying their stature as a world-class act.
The group opened with Don Quixote and moved through a decade of music, presenting high-energy tracks like Clap, HOT, and SOS Prod. Marshmello alongside melodic pieces including WORLD, Darling, Rock with You, and Whirlwind.
Their reputation as exceptional live performers, shaped through years of touring, shone as they delivered precise vocals and natural rhythm. In a spontaneous moment showing their eleven years of experience, they accepted audience requests and performed HBD, boosting crowd participation.
Fresh arrangements and dynamic band sessions amplified the atmosphere, while the audience responded with lively cheers, Carat Bongs, and handmade banners. Seventeen closed with their signature encore Very NICE, energizing the entire room as applause carried well beyond the final note.
