Mukbang creator Jjuyang took part in a volunteer project in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, where she joined composer Yoon Il Sang and dancer Poppin Jun Ho to support low income households through a large scale coal briquette delivery organized by the Korea Central Volunteer Center on November 17.

The initiative mobilized Republic of Korea Volunteer Ambassadors and center staff to help vulnerable residents stay warm during winter and to encourage wider participation in volunteer activities nationwide.

A team of thirty five volunteers, including ambassadors Yoon Il Sang, Poppin Jun Ho, and Jjuyang, delivered four thousand coal briquettes and essential supplies to six households struggling with heating costs, forming human chains in hard to access areas to move each briquette safely.

After the delivery, the ambassadors and center staff reviewed the years volunteer efforts and outlined plans for the upcoming 2026 International Year of Volunteers. Jjuyang, known for her mukbang content, also donated 5 million KRW (3,750 USD) from her clothing brand Gardens to the Warm Hearted Korea Coal Briquette Sharing Movement.

She said that seeing the smiles of the residents underscored the power of small acts of kindness and reaffirmed her commitment to ongoing volunteer work. The Korea Central Volunteer Center intends to continue strengthening its collaboration with ambassadors and expanding nationwide volunteer campaigns ahead of 2026.
