My Daily reporter Kwak Myungdong writes that Hollywood actor Sandra Bullock, 61, has been seen in public for the first time in nearly a year, and Page Six reported that she was spotted driving in Los Angeles on March 12 with her fifteen year old son Louis in the passenger seat and her white poodle Sweetie looking out the window.

Bullock has kept a low profile since the death of her longtime partner Bryan Randall, who passed away from ALS in 2023, and Randall’s family explained at the time that he chose to keep his illness private and that they were grateful to the medical staff and nurses who supported him through the ordeal. The couple first met when Randall photographed Louis’s birthday party, and Randall also had an adult daughter from an earlier relationship.

Bullock adopted Louis in 2010 and later adopted her daughter Laila, now eleven, in 2015, and she and Randall appeared together on the red carpet for the premiere of Our Brand Is Crisis in 2015.

In 2021 Sandra Bullock described Bryan Randall, who was privately battling ALS, as the love of her life, and she gradually stepped away from public events to care for him with her final major red carpet appearance taking place in March 2022 alongside Channing Tatum for the premiere of The Lost City.

Reports indicate that Bullock stayed with Randall through his final moments. Her long career includes starring roles in Speed from 1995, Demolition Man from 1993, While You Were Sleeping from 1995, The Blind Side from 2009, Gravity from 2013, Ocean’s 8 from 2018, the Netflix release Bird Box from 2018, and The Lost City from 2022.
