Yeonjun from TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) made waves in the U.S. with his recent appearance on 102.7 KIIS FM’s iHeart K-Pop with JoJo, leaving American listeners impressed with his charm, insight, and artistry.
During the latest broadcast, Yeonjun joined host JoJo Wright for a lively conversation about his debut solo album, NO LABELS: PART 01. The singer opened up about the creative process behind the project and what it means to him.
“I’m nervous but also thrilled and excited,” Yeonjun shared. “It was really fulfilling to write the stories I wanted to tell and turn them into music.” When asked which song he’s most attached to, he admitted it was hard to choose, saying, “Each song has its own unique charm.” Still, he singled out two standouts—“Let Me Tell You (feat. Daniela of KATSEYE),” which he called special thanks to Daniela’s contribution, and “Coma,” his personal favorite.
Host JoJo Wright praised Yeonjun’s performance skills, especially his choreography. “Creating your own choreography is incredible—it shows how objectively you can view your performance,” Wright said. He also applauded Yeonjun’s creativity, referencing his 2022 solo mixtape GGUM and TXT’s 2023 hit “Beautiful Strangers” from their fourth studio album The Name Chapter: TOGETHER.
