K-pop continues to make its mark on the global stage as BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Netflix’s K-pop Demon Hunters secure historic Grammy nominations. The Recording Academy announced that Rosé received three nominations at the 68th Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year for her hit single APT., both within the prestigious General Fields category.

The singer expressed her gratitude on Instagram, thanking the Recording Academy and tagging collaborator Bruno Mars with a playful message: Bruno, check this out! Mars responded by posting a photo of the two celebrating the news together.

This marks the first time a K-pop artist has been nominated in the Grammys’ top categories and the first instance for a female K-pop artist, solidifying Rosé’s trailblazing legacy. Meanwhile, the original soundtrack Golden from K-pop Demon Hunters earned five nominations, including Song of the Year, underscoring the expanding influence of Korean pop culture across music and film.
