The Pinkfong Company announced on Thursday the debut of its latest intellectual property (IP), Kikipuppup, a new collaborative project co-produced with TBS Television, one of Japan’s top five national broadcasters.

Kikipuppup is The Pinkfong Company’s next-generation IP, following global hits such as Pinkfong, Baby Shark, Bebefinn, Sealook, and Moon Shark. The project represents the first major co-production between leading content creators from South Korea and Japan, underscoring both companies’ shared commitment to creating family-friendly entertainment with global appeal.

Unlike traditional children’s programming that focuses primarily on music and adventure, Kikipuppup stands out for its comedic storytelling centered on emotions and relationships. The series follows the lighthearted adventures of Kiki, a confident cat; Puppup, an optimistic dog; and Vex, a playful troublemaker—encouraging children to understand and express emotions through humor and empathy.

Each episode runs about three minutes and combines slapstick comedy with catchy songs in a “Laugh & Learn” format that balances entertainment and education. Produced in Korean, Japanese, and English, the series is designed for international audiences and will be available through major OTT platforms.

The Pinkfong Company plans to expand the Kikipuppup IP beyond digital media, with upcoming ventures in toys, publishing, music, and live performances. Leveraging its partnership with TBS, the company aims to strengthen global distribution and merchandising, evolving its IP portfolio into a premium entertainment brand focused on emotional connection and empathy.
