Singer Sung Si Kyung recently opened up about the challenges he faces in his career in Japan.

On October 12, Sung Si Kyung shared a heartfelt post on his personal social media account: “I just finished a Japanese performance with my dear mentor Yang Hee Eun and the remarkable Shin Ae and Kyuhyun. Reflecting on his experience, Sung Si Kyung remarked that it seems that guest appearances are not a part of Japan’s concert culture. He is determined to achieve even greater success so that he can invite my cherished seniors and juniors to perform with him on larger stages.

He continued that breaking into the Japanese market as a solo artist, rather than as an idol, is an unprecedented challenge. He truly appreciates the support. Will you cheer him on? When he returns to Korea, he promises to work on an outstanding new single.

Known for his fluency in Japanese, Sung Si Kyung has been steadily releasing albums in Japan and cultivating a dedicated local fan base.
