Seol In Ah Suffers Injury Filming ‘Iron Girls 2’ Challenge

Seol In Ah sustained an ankle injury while filming Iron Girls 2, according to a report from News1 on Tuesday. Filming was immediately halted, and Seol In Ah was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Initially, the injury left her unable to walk comfortably. She is now receiving outpatient care and reportedly recovering well. A representative from the production team shared, “Seol In Ah began experiencing discomfort in her ankle during filming and was promptly taken to the hospital. X-rays showed no bone damage, but she continues to feel discomfort. She is currently undergoing physical therapy and resting.”

The team added that her return to filming will depend on her progress: “We’re closely monitoring her recovery and will adjust the shooting schedule accordingly.”

Seol In Ah, who also appeared in Season 1, is part of a cast praised for tackling extreme athletic challenges such as swimming, cycling, and running. The show’s blend of emotional storytelling and physical grit has resonated strongly with viewers.

Now in its second season, Iron Girls 2 continues to celebrate female strength and resilience, amassing more than 290 million video views across platforms. This season features Seol In Ah alongside Uee, Keum Sae Rok, and Park Ju Hyun.

The season premiered July 11 with the cast training in boxing, showing their dedication and competitive energy. In the August 1 episode, Seol In Ah teamed up with Park Ju Hyun for a grueling global fitness race that included an 8-kilometer run and eight challenging fitness events. Despite the physical demands, the entire cast completed the race, showcasing their determination and teamwork.
