Jung Kyung Ho has openly expressed his deep affection for Choi Sooyoung, his girlfriend of 12 years.
On May 12, actors Jung Kyung Ho, Seol In Ah, and Cha Hak Yeon appeared as guests on Shin Dong Yup’s YouTube show “Zzanbro” to promote their upcoming MBC drama Oh My Ghost Clients, which premieres on the 30th.
During the interview, host Jeong Ho Cheol asked Seol In Ah, “This might be an awkward question, but what’s Jung Kyung Ho like as a boyfriend from your perspective?” The actress replied with high praise: “He’s the best. I completely understand why he’s maintained such a long relationship. He’s attentive and genuinely listens. He’s a good listener—That really matters when you’re in a relationship.”
Later, while discussing his acting, Jung Kyung Ho pivoted to his relationship: “Sooyoung keeps me grounded. I honestly think without this woman, I could have become a very disappointing and mediocre actor. I tend to be frivolous. She’s truly a blessing to me,” before smoothly adding, “But I’d really appreciate it if everyone watched ‘Oh My Ghost Clients,’” cleverly redirecting to promote his drama.
Hearing this, Seol In Ah asked, “What do you mean by ‘frivolous’? Are you saying you want to try this and that, but Sooyoung tells you ‘that’s not it’ and helps you focus?” Jung Kyung Ho clarified, “I’m talking about how I act, how I portray.”
Jeong Ho Chul then offered his own interpretation, asking, “You mean she keeps you grounded when you’re spinning out?” To that, Shin Dong Yup chimed in, “Everyone hears things differently. Remember that movie ‘Fasten Your Seatbelt’ by director Ha Jung Woo? (Kyung Ho) played Ma Joon Gyu there. Without Sooyoung, you’d be just like him.”
Hearing that, Jung Kyung Ho groaned, “Come on, I was being all serious, and you end it like that?” to which Shin Dong Yup shot back with a grin, “That’s a wrap. Nice and clean, right?” adding more laughter to the conversation.
